It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Daniel Carley, President of GCAO and Vice President of Dolyn Construction Ltd., who passed away peacefully on the evening of November 4 following complications arising from a tragic accident earlier this fall.
Dan served as a valued member of the GCAO Board of Directors for the past seven years. Throughout his tenure, he made significant contributions to the Association through his leadership, dedication, insight, and unwavering commitment to the construction industry. His good humour, professionalism, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
On behalf of the GCAO Board of Directors, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Dan's wife, Erika, their young children, his family and friends, and the entire team at Dolyn Construction Ltd. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with them all.
Dan leaves behind a lasting legacy, and he will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
